Research and practice have shown that AGPs in broiler feed have three major functions:

  • Antibacterial and sterilization, disease prevention

  • Regulating the balance of microbes, enhancing disease resistance

  • Improving feed efficiency and promoting growth

1. After AGPs are banned

The integrity of the intestinal structure of broilers will be easily damaged, the intestinal microbial balance will be lightly disturbed, and the digestion and absorption of nutrients will decrease.

An increase of diarrhea and morbidity and decrease of growth speed often occurs in actual production. Feed companies have to face the problems of complaints, increased costs, and increased technical service pressure!

2.The main cause of intestinal problems after antibiotic banned

Broiler feed is a typical corn-soybean meal diet. The large amount of plant protein, especially soybean meal and other raw materials containing high anti-nutritional factors, will inevitably cause damage to the intestinal structure.

These raw materials are not highly digestible, and the undigested and unabsorbed nutrients, especially proteins, will unfavorably ferment to the back of the intestine, which will definitely break the microbial balance. After AGPs is banned, the contradiction between these two aspects will become more serious!

3. Counter measures to protect the intestine

Therefore, to replace AGPs in broiler feed, the function of replacing AGPs must be considered. The core is to maintain intestinal health!

Maintaining intestinal health requires two hands: to ensure the integrity of the intestinal cell structure and prevent it from damage; to ensure the balance of intestinal microbes and prevent it from disorders. The solution measures are nothing more than two aspects:

1) Reduce harmful substances such as antigens and toxins brought from the diet, and improve the digestibility of raw materials, especially protein raw materials;

2) Select functional substances such as:

A. Functional substances that can promote intestinal development and enhance repair after intestinal injury (such as active substances that promote cell proliferation and differentiation, reduce intestinal epithelial permeability, anti-oxidation and anti-inflammatory activities);

B. Functional substances that can regulate the balance of intestinal microbes (such as beneficial bacteria, enzymes, trace elements, etc.)

The functions of probiotics, enzymes, and organic trace elements in broiler chickens are already prevalent. On this basis, small molecular active peptides can be used to maintain the intestinal health of broilers. Let's take a look at the magical effects of small molecule active peptides in maintaining the intestinal health of broilers!

Small molecule peptides can promote intestinal development and enhance repair after intestinal injury (ensure the structure and prevent it from damages), adjust the balance of intestinal microbes (adjust balance and other disorders), and maintain the intestinal health of broilers in all rounds. It is superior assistance for broiler feed to protect the intestines! It is used in production to reduce the occurrence of diarrhea and death of broilers, increase the growth rate, reduce the feed ratio, and thus enhance the competitiveness of feed quality!
